Thoroughly wipe the tool dry, then spray all surfaces with an alcohol-based disinfectant such as CrystalSept. Allow the disinfectant to sit for 1 to 1.5 minutes to take effect, rinse thoroughly with running water, and immediately dry the tool before storing it. Never allow moisture or chemical disinfectant to air-dry on implements, and never spray disinfectant into an e-file handpiece motor.
