CrystaLac Matte Buffer (200/200)
Hurry up, only 10 items left in stock.
200/200 - Don't grate! Don't fluff! Smooth it!
A 200/200 grit, soft, flat, rectangular buffer. It has a large contact surface with the nail, so it can be used to mattify the nail plate in just a few strokes. Since it is soft, it perfectly follows the curve of the nail plate, making it even easier to use. With CrystaLac, we prepare the nails with this buffer before using the No Buffer Scrub or Spray Prep material. It is gentle, as it is very fine, it does not file deeply into the nail. If you use this buffer to prepare the nail plate, the dissolution of CrystaLac also becomes much easier.

How do I choose the correct nail file grit for natural nails vs. extensions?
How do I choose the correct nail file grit for natural nails vs. extensions?
80/100 to 150 Grit: Coarse abrasives designed specifically for rapid debulking, shaping hard gel/acrylic extensions, and cutting down length.
180 Grit: The salon standard for refining extension surfaces, smoothing out file ridges, and lightly prepping thick natural nail plates.
200 to 280+ Grit Buffers: Ultra-fine abrasives used exclusively to remove natural plate shine and eliminate fine scratches before gel polish or top coat application.
How should I clean and maintain natural Kolinsky and synthetic nail brushes?
How should I clean and maintain natural Kolinsky and synthetic nail brushes?
Never clean Kolinsky brushes with pure acetone, as it strips natural hair oils and ruins bristle alignment. Clean acrylic brushes by gently swirling them in clean monomer and reshaping the point flat. For gel and detail brushes, wipe clean with a lint-free wipe saturated with cleanser or clear base gel, then store away from UV/LED light sources with protective caps on.
What is the benefit of a Half-Moon (C-Curve) nail file design?
What is the benefit of a Half-Moon (C-Curve) nail file design?
The straight side provides a stable guide for shaping crisp free edges, square sidewalls, and parallel lines, while the curved side contours closely around the delicate cuticle zone without cutting, scratching, or burning the lateral skin folds.
Why is proper natural nail buffing critical for product retention?
Why is proper natural nail buffing critical for product retention?
Lightly buffing with a high-density 200/200 or 280-grit buffer removes surface oils and opens up micro-pores on the keratin plate without thinning the nail structure. This gives primers and base coats an optimal textured foundation to lock onto, directly preventing service lifting.
