Absolute International Master Educator
Although I initially pursued sales, my career path shifted when a Job Centre training program introduced me to nail artistry. Starting as a manicurist in 2013, I overcame early challenges with client building and technical refinement through continuous practice and training, achieving Nail Master status by 2021.
In 2018, I discovered Crystal Nails, which delivered the high-quality products my work required. This led to an invitation to become a Brand Ambassador, and in 2020, I began my official educator training. Balancing a busy schedule alongside caring for my three daughters—including one with a disability—I currently service 13 to 18 clients weekly while guiding emerging technicians.
Advice for Aspiring Nail Technicians
- Persist Through Setbacks: Initial difficulties are normal; giving up makes returning much harder.
- Invest in Retraining: Repeat training courses whenever you feel unsure or unready.
- Analyze Your Work: Regularly critique your results to identify and correct technical shortcomings.
